First I want to say Happy New Year to all of you and I hope you all have a blessed year! I want to start off by telling you about the main hair care/color products I use and a little about why I use them! When it comes to my hair or hair that I color or style I try to stick with products from Sally's Beauty however I also have products I love from outside of sally’s. First I feel I must tell all of you about a brand of shampoo and conditioner from BJ’s called Berkley and Jensens that compares to Biolage (smell and all) and I absolutely love it because for one I love the smell and it is like ¼ of the price, I paid I think around $6 each for a big bottle of shampoo and conditioner. They have a few different kinds for specific hair types too I just think this is an awesome deal because I know before I found it I was all upset because I couldn’t afford to pay $40 for shampoo and conditioner.
The next products I want to share are products I started using about 2 months or so ago, its One 'N Only keratin they have Shampoo, Conditioner, leave in treatment, lusterizer, deep conditioning treatment, smoothing lotion, and even a straightener and blow dryer. I currently am using the leave in treatment which is what I started out using when my hair got pretty fried from color and it is just amazing instantly detangles your hair and makes it so smooth and soft I just love it, so that made me want to try more of the produts they have out. I recently started using the shampoo, conditioner, and the deep conditioning treatment and I am hooked its awesome and the prices aren’t too bad either they are all I believe $8.29/ea which is more than your hair products from say Wal-Mart BUT if you have damaged hair I definitely recommend this set of products for sure!!!
Now for hair spray I am currently using ion color defense hairspray only because I got it for free when I renewed my sally’s membership and I must say it’s pretty good but I probably wouldn’t pay for it because I don’t care for the scent and it doesn’t have much hold but it works great for hairstyles that only need a light hold! My all time favorite hairspray for dramatic styles is Schwarzkopf got to b glued blasting freeze spray, it has an amazing hold and it keeps your hair in place all day!
As for color I normally stick with wella only because that’s what I started out using however they don’t have a huge color selection so I have used others from sally’s as well. I rarely ever use box color (only if it’s given to me for freeJ). I am a color crazy person I love trying new colors and have had my hair allot of crazy colors even though I have natural blonde hair, which I didn’t start loving until it was too late, it seems the older I get the more ashy of a blonde it becomes when it used to be “platinum” blonde.
